Dr. Ralf Schimmer is Wiley\u2019s Senior Director of Government Partnerships and Public Policy. In this role, he works with a range of stakeholders to inform policy and direction in Wiley\u2019s transition to open access, leads strategy workshops with partners and customers, runs thought leadership events from Wiley\u2019s Innovation Lab in Berlin, and supports Wiley in building, expanding, and maintaining relations with government and other policymakers.<\/p>\n

Previously, Ralf served as Director of Scientific Information at the Max Planck Digital Library, where he led the organization\u2019s strategy for more than two decades and helped drive Germany\u2019s leadership in open access research.
