Guillaume Cabanac\u00a0is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Toulouse, France. He holds a research chair at the Institut Universitaire de France titled \u201cDecontamination of the scientific literature<\/a>.\u201d Cabanac develops the\u00a0Problematic Paper Screener<\/a>\u00a0that contributes to the identification, reporting, and retraction of algorithmically generated and fraudulent papers.<\/p>\n

He is an investigator on the ERC Synergy grant NanoBubbles<\/a> that questions how, when, and why science fails to correct itself.
