A followup to <a href=\"https:\/\/stm-assoc.org\/document\/stm-ai-white-paper\/\">AI Ethics in Scholarly Communication<\/a> which STM released in April 2021, this new publication is a resource for stakeholders in scholarly publishing and addresses the increasingly significant role of Generative AI (GenAI) technologies.<\/p>\n<p>The paper looks at the ethical, legal, and practical aspects of GenAI, highlighting its potential to transform scholarly communications, and covers a range of topics from intellectual property rights to the challenges of maintaining integrity in the digital age.
