This poses a risk of some copies becoming outdated in case of<br \/>\nretractions, corrigenda, or other updates &#8211; potentially leading researchers to rely on<br \/>\nincorrect or incomplete content.<\/p>\n<p>The Content-Update Signalling and Alerting Protocol (CUSAP) is a project of the International<br \/>\nAssociation of STM Publishers that aims to enhance the transparency and integrity of scholarly<br \/>\nrecords through a protocol and unified service.
